WRITING RULES FOR PAPERS

Publication Language, Length, Writing Program and Page Layout 


1. Papers should be written in Turkish or English.

2. All MS Word versions are valid for writing papers.

3. The font to be used for writing papers is Times New Roman throughout the text and the points are:

• Paper Title (Bold – 12 Point)

• Abstract (8 Point)

• In-text (10 Point)

• Footnotes (8 Point)

4. Papers should be prepared in a way that does not exceed a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 20 pages. Notes, tables, pictures, figures, etc. in the paper should not exceed center the text and should not exceed the page limit

5. The first letter of the author/authors' names and surnames should be written in capital letters under the title of the paper, centered, and the institution name and e-mail addresses should be shown at the bottom of the page with a footnote (*) at the end of the surnames.

6. The papers should include an abstract of at least 100 and at most 350 words in both lan-guages. At the end of the abstract, there should be at least three and at most five keywords.

7. The page layout of the paper should be structured in A4 size and the page margins should be written as 3 cm top, 3 cm bottom, 2.5 cm right and left.

8. All text should be 1 line spacing, 0 pt before and after spacing, 1 cm paragraph entry, and justified on both sides.


References Presentation


1. Quotations to be included in the text should be indicated in parentheses with the author's surname, publication year, : , page number. Example: (Şahin, 1912: 47)

2. If the source contains more than one author, only the first author's surname should be used and the expression "et al." should be added at the end. However, this style of presentation should never be used in the bibliography where all sources are listed. Example: (Şahin et al., 1912: 47)

3. In the bibliography, authors should be indicated using their surnames first, followed by the first letters of their names.

4. The bibliography should be prepared alphabetically according to the authors' surnames, and if there are multiple sources by the same author, chronological order should be used.

5. References should be written according to APA 7 rules.

Note: Papers prepared without complying with the writing rules will not be evaluated, re-gardless of their content.



 POSTER PAPERS WRITING RULES


1. Poster presentations should be prepared in Turkish or English.

2. The poster size should be 70 cm x 90 cm and should be designed vertically.

3. The poster title should be written in 48-point Times New Roman font, bold, capital letters and justified.

4. The name and surname of the author(s) should be placed one line below the title and cen-tered. The first letter of the name and all surnames should be written in capital letters, 36-point font.

5. The title, institution and e-mail information of the authors should be written at the end of the poster in footnote format, 18-point font, single-spaced.

6. The poster text, tables and drawings should be designed to be easily readable from a dis-tance of 2 meters and using 1.5 line spacing.

7. Quotations and references should be prepared taking into account the congress full paper text writing rules.

 

Note: Poster presentations will be exhibited at the venue on the day and time specified in the program. Each poster owner must be present with their poster(s) during the poster session and provide information about their work. Poster(s) without an author will not be exhibited and will not be included in the proceedings book.
